Brac University alumni take the world by storm

Many alumni from Brac University have graduated with distinctive accolades that have paved their paths to higher education with full-ride scholarships and academic benefits. Notable achievements such as these continue to lever BracU within the top-ranked universities in the country.

Syeda Fahria Hoque Mimmi completed her BSc. And MSc. in Biotechnology from BracU, achieving a Highest Distinction award at both of her graduations. She currently pursues a PhD in Immunology from the Graduate School of Integrated Sciences for Life at Hiroshima University in Japan, which is ranked among the top 10 best universities in Japan.

Another notable BracU alumnus is Mahdi Mubin Shaikat, who graduated from the School of Pharmacy with a Distinction award. Following his graduation, Mahdi worked at Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd. before securing a Departmental Scholarship for a PhD in Pharmaceutics and Drug Design from Duquesne University in the U.S.; Duquesne University is currently ranked at number 7 in Pennsylvania State.

Zainab Syed Ahmed graduated as a valedictorian from her alma mater at BracU, attaining the Chancellor’s Gold Medal in her convocation ceremony. She presently resides in the United States with a full-ride scholarship for a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Buffalo. Her program of studies is ranked number 1 in New York and 14 in the United States.

Anindita Rhine
