UNEP-funded Training course

On the 8th of August, at the GDLN Centre in Brac University, the inaugural training programme, “Technical Skill Development on Distributed Renewable Energy Technologies, ICT, and Women’s Energy Entrepreneurship,” was launched. This international training programme aims to improve the trainees’ capability to establish renewable energy-based firms. Additionally, the training would assist them in acquiring special talents and innovative thinking strategies to recognise the commercial, ecological, and environmental prospects to enhance the general standard of living. The training programme will be directed by CED-BRACU from Bangladesh in cooperation with partner organisations representing Cambodia and Vietnam with funding from UNEP.
