Augmedix visits BracU!
Brac University Business Club (BizBee) invited Augmedix Bangladesh for an informative session on May 14th. The discussion was titled “Future in Focus: The Data Analytics Series.” It was geared towards senior and final year students who are looking to make waves in one of the most dynamic job markets currently. The discussion was headed by two Augmedix giants – Mr Rashed Noman, and Mr Risalat Zabeer.
Mr Noman, country director of Augmedix, started the session, calling his part a ‘warm up act.’ He talked about the dangers of AI, and the extent to which we have surrendered our data and privacy to technology, and added, “Behavior analysis is a bigger threat than data collection.” However, he juxtaposed this saying that despite all, AI is the future. He advised the audience to learn data analysis.
Shortly after Mr Zabeer was called to speak, who is the senior director of operations at Augmedix Bangladesh. He noted how BracU has 32 clubs, and how they all require a lot of energy. The same energy is nowhere to be found once students graduate and enter the workforce. He claims the complete transition of this energy is crucial for a successful career.
The final act of the program was a 30 minute assessment the audience took part in. There were questions regarding English grammar, the intricacies of data analysis, and Excel spreadsheets. Shortly after it started, the BizBee hosts dropped the bombshell announcement that this assessment could potentially start their career at Augmedix Bangladesh!
