Student to Faculty: Tushar Ahmed Shishir

In the third episode of our special segment, Student to Faculty, we celebrate the journey of Tushar Ahmed Shishir (Lecturer, MNS), who once was a student at this very university and now has returned to share the light of his knowledge amongst the younger students.

Tushar sir is not only a dedicated educator but also a promising researcher with a particular interest in bioinformatics. He completed his undergraduate studies with a Pharmacy degree from BracU before opting for a master’s in Biotechnology. He shared, “I look at this more as an evolution of what I already learned into what I was really looking for”.

Sharing his valuable advice to the students, Tushar sir added, “You should always be your sole competitor and work to become a better version of yourself. Only that will truly let you reach your full potential”. As he looks back at his days of being a student and now a teacher here, he shared how it is a challenging yet a rewarding experience to contribute to the teaching community at his alma mater.
