Student To Faculty: Md. Tawsif Ur Rashid
In another episode of Student to Faculty, we have with us Md. Tawsif Ur Rashid (Lecturer, MNS), who finds himself on the other side of the classroom inspiring many to follow their dreams.
He completed his undergraduate in Biotechnology from BracU in 2021 and later went to pursue Master’s in Biotechnology from the University of Copenhagen in 2023. Returning to BracU as a lecturer felt like “coming home,” he says. “Stepping inside the old Mohakhali campus felt like travelling back in time.”
His area of interest now focuses on molecular biology, immunology, proteins. He says, “Biotechnology has grown immensely since my student days. Back then, we were 15 students but now the number is increasing.”
He believes a good teacher is the one who can make complex ideas simple. He encourages students to question theories and think differently. He advises students, “ Relax and grow your skills. What’s meant for you will always find you.”
