Celebration of Talent and Teamwork: SoP Indoor Games 2024
On 12th December, prize giving ceremony of School of Pharmacy (SoP) Indoor Games Tournament 2024, sponsored by CLEMON, was held at Brac University Auditorium. Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Syed Mahfuzul Aziz and Acting Dean of SoP Professor Dr. A.F.M. Yusuf Haider was the chief guest & special guest of this event. The tournament was held from 1st December to 5th December, featuring table tennis, carrom, UNO, badminton & photography
Kyazze Kevin (Senior, PHR) claimed victory in male singles in table tennis, with Dr. Md. Aminul Haque (Faculty) as runners-up. Tahsina Islam (Senior, PHR) won the female singles, followed by Sanjana Parvin Radia (Sophomore, PHR) as runners-up. Anan Chowdhury (Alumni) & Kamrul Hasan (Alumni) triumphed in male doubles, with Tahrim Afroze Zion and Khan Mohammad Sazid (Sophomore, PHR) as runners-up . Tasfia Sadat and Salvina Neha (Junior, PHR) won the female doubles, with Sumaia Sayed Hridita and Shusmy Ahmed (Sophomore, PHR) as runners-up.
Dr. Rabiul Islam (Faculty) won male singles in carrom, with Al Amin Siam (Senior, PHR) as runner-up. Tashfia Sarkar (Sophomore, PHR) won female singles, followed by Jannatul Ferdausw Tonima (Junior, PHR) as runners up. The mixed doubles champions were Dr. Md. Aminul Haque and Dr. Rabiul Islam, with Sheikh Apurbo Rehman and ABM Niamur Rashid Mahim (Fresher, PHR) as runners-up.
Fatema Tarannum (Fresher, PHR) won the UNO championship, with Sanzida Afrin Khan (Senior, PHR) as second & Namara Mariam Chowdhury (Faculty) as third. In badminton, Gift Barikdar (Junior, PHR) won male singles, with Salman Shah Shovo (Alumni) as runner-up. Sunhara Subaita (Junior, PHR) won female singles, followed by Sunjida Ananna (Fresher, PHR) as runners up. Md. Rafiul Islam & Farhaz Faiz Joy (Fresher, PHR) triumphed in male doubles, with Rashedul Islam Sagor & Md. Refat Hossain Rafi (Senior, PHR) as runners-up. Jubaira Abedin & Rukaiya Akter (Senior, PHR) won female doubles, followed by Nourin Khan Chowdhury & Sunhara Subaita (Junior, PHR).
The Photography Contest added a creative dimension, with Arfin Hossain Jemi (Junior, PHR) winning first place, followed by Md. Rafiul Islam (Fresher, PHR) & Faisal Kabir Siam (Sophomore, PHR). The prize giving ceremony marked a riveting conclusion with an exciting raffle draw.
