First-Ever BRACU Student Launches an EdTech Platform

Md. Rafin Rahman, a student of the BRACU CSE Department, ventured into the EdTech Industry. He is the Co-founder of Haate Khori, an EdTech platform for Skill development, which launched on 25 September 2024.

When asked about his inspiration, Rafin said he noticed how lacking skills prevented individuals from employment. He wanted to address this issue and bring a solution. He realized vital skills required for the present job market were not taught in traditional academic coursework. Rafin worked long days and nights to bring a solution alive, thus creating Haate Khori, an EdTech platform for career-developing skills. He also mentioned how his teachers from his department encouraged him with his vision.

Haate Khori secured Tk. 30 Lakhs in funding only weeks into its launch, reflecting investor’s confidence. Rafin wants to utilize this fund for Mentor Onboarding, Educational Campaigns, and expanding the Haate Khori Team. “We are currently trying to hire alumni and leading figures in the industry who can share their experiences and guide these students on the right path to achieve their dreams. If someone dreams of working in Silicon Valley, they should have guidance to reach their goals,” said Rafin.
