Prime Bank engages with the youth
On 27th August Brac University Business Club- BIZ BEE along with Finance and Accounting Club of Brac University (FINACT) hosted Prime Bank PLC for an engaging session titled- “Empowering Youth: Engaging & Inspiring Youth in Banking”. The session focused on placement opportunities, banking and corporate culture and strategies to excel in competitive recruitment.
The program began with the recitation from the Holy Quran and a performance of the national anthem. After that the students and volunteers gave a warm reception to the honorable guests. A video was presented by Prime Bank. Then the honorable representatives from the Prime Bank Ms. Shaila Abedin (SEVP, Prime Bank PLC), Mr. M. M. Mahbub Hasan (SVP, Prime Bank PLC) and Mr. M. Nazem A. Chowdhury (Managing director, Prime Bank PLC) gave their engaging and inspiring speeches followed by an interactive Q & A session.
In her speech Ms. Abedin added, “Youth empowerment is the key to development.” Moreover, Mr. Hasan quoted, “There is no prerequisite for being a banker but being a good human is a must.” Besides career prospects the speakers talked about women empowerment in the corporate especially banking sector and gave valuable insights regarding banking. The session ended with Dr. David Dowland (Registrar, BracU) thanking the speakers for their impactful input. The chief guest Mr. Chowdhury also announced that students can now open accounts in Prime Bank seamlessly.
The session closed its curtains by a presentation competition with prize giving ceremony by the honorable guests.
