Kothopokothon: Team Utshob shares laughter and warmth

On July 2nd, Brac University Film Club (BUFC) rolled out the red carpet for the cast and crew of the much-awaited film Utshob in the auditorium. The excitement on the campus was seen in the students as they greeted the legendary Zahid Hasan, promising Sadia Ayman, and the director, Tanim Noor.

The session began by screening the trailer of Utshob, followed by warm introductions. Tahsina Rahman (Joint Director of Student Life, BracU) remarked on how the cast meant a lot nostalgically to this generation. Tanim Noor expressed his delight at the crowd turnout and complimented the ambience of the campus. Zahid Hasan showered the students with love and

praise while sharing that he may even teach at BracU someday. Sadia Ayman shared that she was very excited and nervous being a young actress entering the industry while enjoying the life of youth here.

Tanim Noor then remarked that their goal with the film is to bring people together and help them embrace joyous moments through cinema. Towards the end of the event, a surprise quiz was announced, which further uplifted the spirits. The lucky winners all walked away with free tickets for the film. From moments of live acting to sincere advice and humorous chitchat, the event was a gorgeous mixture of all which left the students with a warm feeling of a good time. As Rudranil Turjo ( Sophomore, CSE) said, “ Watching Utshob’s cast having a lively interaction and sharing heartfelt stories made this event unforgettable .”
