Rising Star Day 5: The battle of glory intensifies
As the competition slowly moved towards an ending, the matches intensified. The day started with the deciders of men’s table tennis matches from Group- M and Group- I. Imtiaz Maruf and Animesh Pal came out on top in group M and group I. Alongside them, Partha Protim Halder and KM Sazid Swapnil emerged as runners-up from Group-M and Group-I.
The badminton court was even more heated. Group 14 from female badminton had some tough battles where Sumaiya Zaman and Ruhana Rahnuma Islam came out on top as champions and runners-up. Group 6 had some fierce battles. Sujana Huq Oishi was crowned as group champion, with Maisha Tabassum as runner-up. Courtesy was shuddering with the fiery smashes. The atmosphere in the men’s court was highly spirited as well. From smashes to clever trick shots, the crowd was always on the edge of their seats. Group 16 had some nail-biting games too. Where Al Jayed Rup and Md. Golam Murtuza Ali Rohan had an exciting match. In the end, Rohan came on top with 21 points with 15 points from Rup’s end. Rohan’s dominating performance lost its hue in another feisty battle against Adit Sarjil Qureshi, which ended with a 15-21 scoreline. In Group 27 Rashedul Karim Mahim won the group champion status.
With just a few steps away from the final battles, the excitement, enthusiasm, and thrill was on another level on the fifth day of “Rising Star 24.” The day ended with an energetic note as the players put their hearts and souls into the shots. Along with competitors we are also eager to witness a thrilling representation of sportsmanship spirit. With everyday, the excitement just keeps on increasing, and the audience cannot wait for the next day.
